Ignaz Schick is a Berlin based sound artist, composer, and visual artist. He also performs as an instrumentalist on turntables, sampler, objects, electronics, and alto and baritone saxophone. Schick studied the saxophone and performed in free jazz and avant rock bands before starting to experiment with building his own instruments and sound-making devices.
Schick tours worldwide as a soloist and with groups such as Perlonex, Phosphor, Berlin Sound Connective, Nighthawk Kitchen, Tree People, Splitter Orchestra or ILOG, and he has released over 75 albums on many international labels and his own imprint.
At All Ears Schick will play a solo set of improvised music on turntables.

Schick studerte saksofon og var en aktiv skikkelse i free-jazz og avant rock scenen før han begynte å bygge egne instruemnter og lyd-enheter. Schick turnerer internasjonalt som solist eller i band som Perlonex, Phosphor, Berlin Sound Connective, Nighthawk Kitchen, Tree People, Splitter Orchestra eller ILOG.
