As a duo in their debut album, Throw It In The Sink, Lily Finnegan and gabby fluke-mogul give their respects to the queer punk rock & avant jazz musicians of the expansive continuum past, present, future. A prayer, a scream, a steadfast commitment - the pair weave improvised song, solo, and laughter in this music, recorded in the depths of July 2023 in Chicago.

Lily Glick Finnegan is a Chicago born and based drummer, composer, improviser and organizer. Her wide ranging interests and cross genre influence are embodied in her self led quartet Heat On, along with Ken Vandermark’s Edition Redux and punk band Cucuy. Lily has collaborated with a wide range of artists including James Brandon Lewis, Bill Orcutt, Nicole Mitchell, Tomeka Reid, Macie Stewart, Brandon Seabrook, Fay Victor, Ed Wilkerson, Shanta Nurullah, Dave Rempis, Katie Ernst, Jason Stein, Devon Gates, Katinka Kleijn, Emma Dayhuff and Lia Kohl. Lily co-curates the Option Series and was spotlighted as a “Chicagoan of Note” by The Chicago Reader for her musical organizing work in the city. In 2025 she became a member of the independent music cooperative Catalytic Sound.
