"If a fire starts in your microwave, press the stop pad and leave the door closed. Then turn off the power at the switch and pull out the plug."
Emmeluth / Skavhaug Nergaard / Knedal Andersen explores non-linear form structures with an explosive interplay and nerve. In 2022 they released "The A-Z of Microwave Cookery" on Astral Spirits.
Signe Emmeluth, known for her energetic free flowing sax playing, has toured extensively through Europe and beyond. She won the norwegian Grammy for her work 'Banshee', and with her own Emmeluth's Amoeba she's become one of Norway's most celebrated saxophone players on the jazz/impro-scene the past few years.
Magnus Skavhaug Nergaard has had something to do with a very large portion of bands, releases and music productions on the experimental scene in Norway in the past years, either playing bass, recording or doing live sound. His open and social mind has led him to explorations in free jazz, rock bands, folk music and electronic music - a bridge builder and a guy who makes things happen. Projects include Delish, Pseudo Fruit, Reolô, Monkey Plot, The Touchables and plays in Selma French and Christian Winther's bands. In 2023 he released his solo record 'Hibernacle' on Motvind Records.
Dag Erik Knedal Andersen has been a central guy in norwegian improvised music the past 15 years. With his hyperactive, intuitive and creative style, he's created a unique voice as an improviser, challenging and moving traditions forward, looking for new pathways.
